PETIT BLEU CIEL DE PARIS

Paris Sky Blue (Bleu Ciel De Paris, BCDP) is one of the three colours of the MAISON GUERMONT trichromy, together with gold and white. The artist created it by blending some of her photographs of the Parisian sky. BCDP is also a conceptual artwork in the same way as Yves Klein's IKB. Here it becomes an artwork printed on art paper, in a signed limited edition.

To create dialogues between the artworks themselves, beyond those initiated between the partners needed to build MAISON GUERMONT, the artist Milène Guermont imagined a trichromy: gold, white and Paris Sky Blue, and a set of three shapes: pyramid, cloud and madeleine.

Paris Sky Blue (BCDP) is a colour and a concept-artwork in its own right, like Yves Klein's International Klein Blue (IKB).

The paper artwork PETIT BLEU CIEL DE PARIS is a flat area of Paris Sky Blue ink on textured art paper. It is printed in 50 copies, numbered, signed and framed (to hang on a wall or to stand).
